Villa Carine is a Puerto Aventuras oceanfront vacation villa offering exceptional value for groups of 6 - 18 people.   Available in a 3 - 7 bedroom configuration depending on size of group.  (bedrooms not rented are locked off and not rented to anyone else)

Located next door to the Dreams Hotel beach in the upscale resort/residential gated community of Puerto Aventuras, villa Carine is conveniently located just an hour from the Cancun airport on a 4 lane highway.  With Playa del Carmen only 20 minutes to the north and Akumal 20 minutes to the south, you are strategically located to all the Mayan Riviera has to offer.  BUT why go anywhere when Puerto Aventuras has most everything one looks for in a tropical vacation.  All within walking distance of the villa.

The street side approach into Villa Carine with its Mexican tiled walkway, stone columns, palm trees and stone accents, will immediately begin to soothe you from your stressful life back home.

One step inside the door of Villa Carine with its amazing view of the pool with crystal clear ocean just beyond, and thoughts of busy schedules, traffic jams and cold weather will be forgotten.

The finishing of the home is a simple yet tasteful mix of marble, hand painted talavera, clay brick & tile, exotic woods, and natural stones all accented by tropical plants and of course that pool, ocean & sky blue back drop. 

The furnishings of Villa Carine are Caribbean casual and designed for beachfront relaxation and enjoyment.

The layout and function of the house centers around indoor and outdoor living with the pool being the focal point.

When you enter Villa Carine you find the combined living and dining room directly in front of you with a  wall of sliding glass doors leading directly out to a covered terrace and the pool. 

The living room has a sofa, love seat and large easy chair.  Additional lounge area is provided n a shady terrace with a sofa, chairs and coffee table.  Chaise lounges, a floating pool chair, pool floats and a King size shaded thatch roof lounge bed overlooking the ocean, are all invitations for you to relax.

Villa Carine dining room has a large square table to sit 12 with another table on the covered terrace providing seating for 8 so that you can enjoy dining al-fresco.

The spacious kitchen has granite countertops and opens up to the dining room.  Pool and ocean views are treated to you even when in the kitchen.  BUT why spend any time there when for a reasonable additional fee, a Mexican cook can be provided to take care of the kitchen chores and spoil you with her culinary delights.

There are 3 bedrooms in the main area of the house.  On the ground floor facing the pool and ocean is a bright bedroom with twin beds that can be made up as a King.  The other ground floor bedroom faces the entry courtyard and has 2 sets of bunk beds. In the hall between these two bedrooms is a shared bathroom with shower.

Upstairs is the Master bedroom with King bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and sliding glass doors out to a small terrace with beautiful ocean view.

The other bedrooms are actually two, 2 bedroom suites. These are accessed from outside, off of the entry courtyard. 

The first suite has on the ground floor twin beds that can be made up as a King and its own bathroom with shower.  From this bedroom there is a narrow, steep, spiral staircase going upstairs to a large bedroom with a King bed plus alcove with twin beds.  This bedroom has its own bathroom and a nice ocean view.

The other 2 bedroom suite is a little smaller and does not have individual bathrooms.  On the ground floor are twin beds that can be made up as a King.  Here too there is a narrow, steep, spiral staircase leading upstairs to the second bedroom.  This bedroom has a King bed, bathroom with shower and partial ocean view.

NOTE: The spiral staircases in the suites are narrow and steep.  They may not be suited to the elderly, very young, or someone who is extra large.

Directly beyond your private pool is a beach area and protected ocean/salt water pool that is filtered with the in and out movement of the waves.  The ocean right in front is good for snorkelling, however it can be difficult to get in and out here due to sharp rocks.  Just a few steps around the corner is a beautiful protected bay with a nice sandy beach. The ocean/salt water pool and beach are on public land and shared with the guests of Dreams Hotel. 

It is IMPORTANT to NOTE that the Dreams hotel has a restaurant & bar located right next door and since all beaches in Mexico are on public land, guests of the hotel are often in front of the villa.  So there may not be as much privacy at this villa as others and while it is currently quite quiet, there is a possibility of a disturbance.  Since the hotel has no obligation to advise anyone if they decide to change their program or how they utilise their facilities, please consider this when renting this villa.

NOTE 1:  The spiral staircases in the two bedroom suites are narrow and may not be suitable for very young, elderly or extra large people. 
NOTE 2:  Both of the two bedroom suites are accessed from the entry courtyard which is outside of the main part of the villa.

• #1 on second floor plan:   This is the Master and located on the second floor in main portion of villa.  King bed, A/C, ocean view, attached bathroom with shower. 

• #2 on ground floor plan:  Located on ground floor in main portion of villa.  Twin beds that can be made up as a King, A/C, ocean view with pool access, bathroom located in hall between #2 and #3 bedrooms. 

• #3 on ground floor plan:   Located on ground floor in main portion of villa.  2 sets of bunk beds, A/C, entry courtyard view, bathroom located in hall between #2 and #3 bedrooms.

• #4 on second floor plan and #5 on ground floor plan:  Access from entry courtyard.  Ground floor bedroom (#5) has twin beds that can be made up as a King, A/C, attached bathroom with shower.  Access to second bedroom is from first bedroom via narrow, steep, spiral staircase.  This bedroom (#4) has a King bed + alcove with Twin beds, A/C, attached bathroom with shower and ocean view.

• #6 on second floor plan and #6 on ground floor plan:   Access from entry courtyard.  Ground floor bedroom has twin beds that can be made up as a King and A/C and attached bathroom with shower.  There is no bathroom in the 2nd floor bedroom.  (must share with ground floor bedroom)  Access to second bedroom is from first bedroom via narrow, steep, spiral staircase.  This bedroom has a King bed, A/C, and partial ocean view.

  BATHROOMS: 5 with showers + 1 half bath off of pool.

 EXTRAS:
• Laundry service from maid at $5. per load
• Cook available at $280 per week (including tax) plus cost of groceries and transportation to do the shopping.  NOTE: This is a mandatory extra for groups of 10 or more people as the cook is needed to help the maid with the cleaning.

·         The cook is required for groups of 10 or more people since she is needed to help the maid.  The cook will be available for 6 days per week to prepare up to 3 normal meals during an 8 hour work day. These meals are limited to one entrée.  There is NO dinner served on the day of your arrival.  The cook will not be in the kitchen all day.  Rather, she will only be there to prepare the meals, serve the meals, and then clean up.  The cook will be assisting the maid during the other times of the day.  The cook is NOT available to serve multiple sittings of breakfast, prepare snacks, serve drinks, or operate as a short order cook.  The cook will present her menu after arrival and discuss which day she will have off.  She will then collect the money necessary to go off and shop for the groceries needed for the first few meals.  There is some flexibility in the menu but please realize that the cook is not a chef, nor does she speak English, so it really works best when a group orders from the menu. Guests will pay for groceries and transportation for the cook to do the grocery shopping.  (approximately $15. one way to Playa del Carmen)  The villa cannot be stocked with food and drinks before arrival.  Guests should plan on purchasing their own drinks, snack items, and any groceries they want in addition to what is needed by the cook to prepare her meals. Guests have full access to the kitchen to prepare their own meals should they desire.

Hey Doug, Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your help with our vacation. We had a fantastic time! The house could not have been better. It was perfect and we'll definitely be back. The maid...although at first I was a little unsure about having her around, did a great job. It really was nice having her clean up after us...amazing how much of a mess you can make just hanging around all day.   Puerto Aventuras is a wonderful area. We loved everything about it.  We never felt unsafe, uneasy, etc. You're very lucky to live in such a great community.  A group of us tried fishing with Capt. Morgan one day and although we really didn't catch much, the view of the coast was awesome.  We'll definitely be recommending your website to our friends and we can't wait to visit again.
