PATAS  Animal Welfare

When you make a reservation to our villa Brisa Caribe.  We will contribute $50. to either the Friends of Puerto Aventuras. or PATAS.  You can help even more by visiting these programs while on vacation and making a cash donation in person or through us here at Brisa Caribe.  In addition to cash, used articles of clothing, school supplies, English language children's books, pet medicines, flea & tick collars/shampoos, pet grooming supplies, leashes, collars, pet food, pet toys etc. are all needed and very welcome. (check the PATAS web site under donations for their wish list.

Friends Of Puerto Aventuras or F.O.P.A. as we call it.  Is a non-profit organization working toward providing educational opportunities and fostering a sense of community for the Mexican individuals and families residing in the near by village of Poblado Puerto Aventuras.  To learn more please click on the photo above or this link F.O.P.A.

P.A.T.A.S. (PAWS in English) Is a free veterinary clinic for the underprivileged animals in Puerto Aventuras and area.  They strive to control overpopulation by providing free spay and neutering as well as treating animals suffering from hunger, injury and disease.  Educating locals in the humane care and responsibility of animals is part of this process.  To learn more please visit their web site by clicking on the photo above or this link  P.A.T.A.S.
