Casita Coral located in the desirable Villas del Mar condo complex of upscale Puerto Aventuras, is truly something special.  This 1850 square foot, 2 bedroom condo with 2.5 baths boasts a jaw dropping postcard perfect view, a full range of modern amenities and an interior of exquisite Mexican antiques,  artefacts and collectables.  With Casita Coral, the owners have thoughtfully merged the old and new worlds in a most sophisticated and comfortable style.  That they are willing to open their doors and share this enchanting paradise with you, is an opportunity not to be missed.

Upon entering Casita Coral you will immediately be torn between racing straight out to the large terrace  to take in that view and inhale the fresh ocean air, or remaining inside to further explore and discover the many treasures.  Either decision will result in sensory overload so come prepared with digital camera and a very large memory card.

The central living space of Casita Coral is capacious, open and airy. It consists of a living room, dining area, and kitchen that flows directly outside to the terrace via a wall of glass sliders that hide away in the wall.  This convergence of interior and exterior environments is lost in the transition and perfectly suited to life here in the tropics where we seldom want to be indoors. 

The interior finish of Casita Coral has been as tastefully considered as the furnishings.  Marble floorings, granite counter tops, select use of hand made ceramic tiles, rich exotic hardwoods, hand woven fabrics and stencilled walls all exemplify the level of detail that has gone into ensuring that this is not just a vacation home.

In furnishing the condo, the owners and their designer traveled to San Miguel de Allende in the interior of Mexico.  This is a colonial city seeped in history and home to a large number of artists and artisans.  Here one can find well preserved antiques, art and other treasures.  

The spacious master bedroom suite at Casa Coral, like the rest of the condo, provides the perfect balance of old and new world.  A King size pillow top mattress with quality linens and delicate hand woven bedspread is framed by an antique headboard.  Other modern conveniences such as dressing room, en-suite bath, reading area, desk, HD satellite TV and walk out to a covered oceanfront terrace, complete this perfectly charming ambiance.

The guest bedroom is equally appealing with two Queen beds, desk, DVD/TV, and attached en-suite bathroom with shower.

Of course one of the main reasons to take a tropical vacation is to enjoy the sun, sand and water.  in this regard Casita Coral's location in the Villas del Mar condo complex will not disappoint. 

The view from the terrace is of a gorgeous, large swimming pool that never seems to be crowded.  Just beyond is the beach with that white powdery sand and translucent, bathtub warm water.

Casita Coral is on the first floor in the new E building of Puerto Aventuras premier condo complex, Villas del Mar.  The condos in this building are a little larger and a little more open than those in the earlier buildings.  This building is also the only one in the complex with an elevator. 

Villas del Mar is a larger, upscale development has been designed in a horseshoe arrangement so that all of the units face the ocean.  The complex boasts plenty of green space, an enormous pool, great beach, off street parking, private tennis court and close proximity to the village center.

We are happy to share a few COMMENTS from the guests of this condo:

Our group had a wonderful time and the condo could not have been more perfect! The decor was fabulous and it had plenty of space for the 5 of us!  Our condo was cleaned on Wednesday, as anticipated. Our housekeeper was so polite and respectful of our space/items. The condo was well-equipped with kitchen utensils, so we were able to enjoy a few dinners "at home". We were never successful in getting the wi-fi to fully work. It would seem to accept our password, but then nothing (email or internet) never worked. This was disappointing, but we were able to walk across the street to Bamboo for smoothies in the morning and get caught up on emails. By the way, the staff at Bamboo and their menu items were all fabulous! We were sad to hear that the masseuse we had used a few years back was gone. We would have loved to have a massage on the beach or at the condo, rather than through the hotel. Hopefully someone reliable will become available to the area in the future. We did use Riviera Maya grocery service prior to arriving. They delivered as scheduled and could not have been more polite upon delivery. All items were delivered as ordered, as well. All in all, it was such a great week and we are thrilled to have had such a wonderful service experience through you and the businesses you mentioned in your website.
