Mayan Magic is one of only 2 penthouse units located in the 'B' building of the captivatingly gorgeous, Quinta Maya condo complex.  This building is situated behind the 'A' building with the Quinta del Sol complex next door.  There is no ocean view from the condo but a very pleasing vista of a spectacular swimming pool and peaceful garden. 

The Quinta Maya complex consists of these 2 low density buildings, 2 stylish swimming pools and a marvelous slice of white sand beach rimmed by warm, gin clear Caribbean water. 

Quinta Maya offers a sophisticated and intimate environment where you will feel relaxed and welcome by the friendly owners who you can't help but meet during your stay.  There are no time share sales people here and only a few of the units are available as rentals so everyone knows each other yet privacy is respected.

The architect and developer of the Quinta group of condominium projects has brought great detail and classic Spanish design to Puerto Aventuras.  These buildings stand out even from a distance with their interesting lines.  As they draw you in for closer inspection you cannot help but be impressed with the attention to detail.  Arches & curves, hand carved doors, decorative iron work,  chandeliers, stone carvings, marble mosaics, domed ceilings, and wonderful columns are all part of the extras which make these buildings something special.
 

The layout of Mayan Magic will enamor you with its cultured simplicity and sophisticated functionality.  The spacious kitchen is properly equipped for you to conjure up some of your own magic.  From a simple snack to a multi course meal. Granite counter tops, a large breakfast bar with seating for 4 and a well thought out design will be sure to lure you in.

A round dining table with seating for 6 is conveniently located between the kitchen and living areas. 

The living room has plenty of seating with a sofa and two love seats. Entertainment is provided by a satellite TV and a DVD/CD player. 

A large slider provides access to the terrace where you will find a table and 4 chairs inviting you to enjoy your breakfast al fresco as you contemplate the days activities.

The master bedroom has a King bed with quality linens.  An attached bathroom with shower is very tastefully done in marble.  A glass slider provides access to the terrace which connects with the living room.  

The guest bedroom has Twin beds which can also be made up as a King.  Quality  linens ensure a comfortable night of rest and inspires pleasant dreams of warm Caribbean days spent frolicking on the beach.

A tasteful bathroom with shower is just outside the bedroom entrance door.  This bathroom is finished with the same quality and decorative concern as the rest of the condo.

If you need an extra bedroom or a little more privacy for some of your group.  Then the studio condo Tranquilidad is only a few steps away in the same building and being offered at a very reasonable rate.

Dear Andra, Doug, Sherri, and anyone else who helps out!  Thanks for the notification about the refund. We had a lovely time: the condo was perfect for us in terms of size and convenience and comfort. Next time we'll pick a beach side condo, though.  All the staff were terrific--Rene who takes care of the grounds at Quinta Maya is super-nice and such a hard worker! The young ladies who came in to clean were extremely helpful and great at their jobs. We found the area was perfect for what my elderly parents wanted to do: dad golfed EVERY day and mom loves the beach. As you said, the Pub served good food at great prices. Sitting where we could watch the dolphins was a treat. We got a kick out of Gaylita and loved her pies. Cafe Cafe was a godsend.  Many thanks to Antonio at Paradise Travel who helped me straighten out something with Hertz as a friendly gesture.  We wished we had had a phone in the condo, in case of emergency or to check on a few things, but it was okay without it. Wonderful not to have a phone ring anyway!  All in all a successful trip--made all the more pleasurable by your terrific help and suggestions.  All the best,  Molly March 2008
