Mayan Waters soothing effects are not reserved for the outdoors.  Once you open the impressive hand carved wooden double doors and step inside this spacious condo, the stress of modern life will be left behind. A pleasing mix of old and new is tastefully integrated into the interior design and finishing of this impressive condo.  Heavy, solid wood, Hacienda style furniture seems totally in sync with plush sofas and pillow top mattresses. Neutrally colored walls accent magnificent vaulted domed brick ceilings from another era.  Modern appliances & electronics are in place amidst stone counters and marble floors.  Like the mesmerizing gin clear waters that you will view from the terrace.  The tasteful use of natural materials contributes to an encompassing feeling of self satisfaction.

Mayan Waters is located in the newly constructed Quinta del Sol II building of the Quinta del Sol condo complex.  This stylish complex is on the Omni Beach of Puerto Aventuras between the Quinta Maya and Villas del Mar II condo complexes.  This most desirable location is not only on Puerto Aventuras' nicest beach, but just a short stroll from the village center.

The Quinta del Sol complex offers a sophisticated and intimate environment with 2 stylish swimming pools and a marvelous slice of white sand beach rimmed by bathtub warm Caribbean water.  

The architect and developer of the Quinta group of condominium projects has brought great detail and classic Spanish design to Puerto Aventuras.  These buildings stand out even from a distance with their interesting lines.  As they draw you in for closer inspection you cannot help but be impressed with the attention to detail.  Arches & curves, hand carved doors, decorative iron work,  chandeliers, stone carvings, marble mosaics, domed ceilings, and wonderful columns are all part of the extras which make these buildings something special.
 

The open design of Mayan Waters is ideal for the natural flow of  movement and conversation. 

The spacious full kitchen is well equipped to prepare anything from a refreshing cocktail, to a light snack, or a multi course meal.  Granite counter tops, a large breakfast bar with seating for 4, rich mahogany cabinetry and all of the modern appliances ensure the cook in your group is well taken care of.

A wood dining table with seating for 8 is conveniently located between the kitchen and living areas. 

The living room has a comfortable sofa and two love seats. Entertainment is provided by a flat screen TV and a DVD/CD player. 

A large slider provides access to the terrace where you will find 2 chaise lounges, a table and 4 chairs inviting you to enjoy your breakfast al fresco as you contemplate the days activities.

The Master bedroom has a King bed with quality linens beneath a vaulted red brick dome ceiling.  An attached bathroom with shower is very tastefully done in marble.  A glass slider from the bedroom provides access to the terrace which runs the length of the frontage to connect with the dining and living rooms.  

The 1st. Guest bedroom, like the master bedroom, has a King bed under another  magnificent dome brick ceiling.   Quality  linens ensure a comfortable night of rest to inspire restful dreams of warm Caribbean days spent frolicking in those rejuvenating Mayan Waters.  The attached bathroom has a bath tub/shower and finished in the same high quality marbles.

A sliding glass door opens up to a small terrace where you can enjoy marina & jungle views.

The 2nd Guest bedroom has Twin beds, attached bathroom with shower and vaulted dome ceiling.  A Queen air mattress can be set up in this room if requested.

Thank you Doug.   We had a wonderful vacation and are looking forward to coming back hopefully next year.  The condo was beautiful and we very much enjoyed Puerto Aventuras.   We found the beaches to be very lovely.  We snorkeled in the bay by the break water and saw great fish and coral.  We loved walking to dinner and tried several restaurants (Gringo Dave's not being our favorite but it was entertaining).  We also really liked PA's convenient vicinity to Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Tulum.  All-in-all we had a terrific time.   Best Andrea Cragin, April 2008
