With the whitest powdery sand beach you can imagine, the bluest most tranquil water the Mexico Caribbean has to offer, and everything in Puerto Aventuras within walking distance, you simply cannot find a better location in Puerto Aventuras or the Riviera Maya. Add to this, a secret little bay teeming with exotic fish and a sacred Mayan ruin looking down upon the water, located just a short swim and hike down a trail from this wonderful Puerto Aventuras vacation villa, and you really have found paradise. The villa is walled and gated with decorative wrought iron entrance ways. Off street parking in a lovely garden area and the contemporary colonial design add to the ‘estate’ feel of this Riviera Maya vacation villa. Comfort is assured at Casa Agave. Six bedrooms, each with attached bathroom and shower, full air conditioning, fans in every room, large kitchen with attached dining area, living room, superb pool, and no end to the gorgeous outdoor areas, both covered and open, for the group to mix or quietly escape from each other.

After parking your rental car in the tranquil garden, you will pass a small casita 'little house' where the onsite caretaker and maid reside.  Sergio, his wife Lucia, and their young daughter are a charming family that you will most certainly want to take home with you by the end of the week. 

Just beyond their casita is a gate opening up to  a wonderful and expansive courtyard. You will quickly discover that Casa Agave is actually two buildings that wrap partially around the courtyard and pool areas in a modified colonial hacienda style. On your left you find the north wing with a full kitchen/dining room at the front on ground level, with sliders opening up to a covered terrace and the 'oh so inviting' pool. Back inside, and still on the ground level, you find a small bedroom at back facing the courtyard. This bedroom has twin beds and attached bathroom with shower.  These beds can be put together to form a King, should you desire. Upstairs there are two regular size bedrooms each with Queen beds and attached bathrooms. One looks out over the roof top and pool/patio area to the ocean not far beyond. The other bedroom is in the back and has a view of the garden.                                        

  The south wing of this beautiful Riviera Maya villa has an expansive living room complete with TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, and lots of area for the guests to lounge. Sliding glass windows on two sides make for a great view and easy access in and out. At the back on the ground level you will find a very large bedroom with courtyard and garden views. Upstairs above this room is another bedroom of equal size with similar views. The gorgeous Master suite is located on this second level at the front. This suite has a private sitting area with couch and TV.  It has a slider out to a large terrace where the fabulous view and Caribbean breeze is to die for. Inside is an oversize bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. All the bedrooms in this wing have King beds and showers in the bathrooms. 

Although the interior spaces of this Mexico vacation villa are well appointed and comfortable, this property begs for you to spend your time out of doors. Everywhere you look there is an invitation to sit or lay down and relax. Cute little benches here and there that offer you a little privacy, hammocks hanging in the shade, a large palapa area with teak tables and chairs for outdoor dining, open areas around the pool to lounge, covered terraces near the buildings, and a bar-b-que area with charcoal grill of sufficient size to satisfy any carnivore. 

This fabulous vacation villa underwent a major renovation in 2003 and will have additional upgrades in October-November 2005..  In 2003 there was extensive construction performed throughout the exterior and interior of the villa with great care to the detail finishing.  The  owners have seen to complete landscaping of all exterior areas and provided all the necessary furnishings, linens, appliances and dishes.  Everything is very tasteful and of a good quality. The mix of Indo-Pacific furnishings with traditional Mexican architecture and finishing, blend very well together in this tropical setting. The result is charming and casual.  Casa Agave has quickly become a villa with a long waiting list for reservations. 

Casa Agave is located on the white sands of the Omni beach in the resort/residential community of Puerto Aventuras.  Puerto Aventuras offers many options for guests with restaurants, bars, shopping, golf, diving, tennis, swim with dolphins, deep sea fishing, sailing charters, parasailing and other activities & services within walking distance of the villa. Casa Agave was everything we expected and so much more. We had the time of our lives.  The pool was perfect for our little toddlers that didn't swim well. The private beach just steps off the pool area was so awesome. There was a hammock to laze away the days not only under some palm trees on the beach but also there were 3 other ones dispersed through out for our enjoyment.  We had so much space. We never felt as if we were on top of each other like you do with other villas.  Sergio and Lucia were absolutely adorable. He took my husband and his two brothers out to go conch shell hunting.  Then he cut it up and we ate delicious ceviche that he made. The rooms were always very clean. Thanks Lucia for doing such a great job. The

This house is AMAZING!  It is so beautiful.  It has truly been the most memorable vacation of my lifetime.  The beach area is gorgeous.  Sergio and Lucia have been a tremendous help to everyone.  They are such sweet people, I will miss them.  This past week has been wonderful!  Ashley B.  Lexington Ky.
