WOW..... is what you are going to say when you see the location of this fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo.  The only thing between you and the ocean is the swimming pool and the most gorgeous white sand beach imaginable.   Plus, you are just a very short 5 minute stroll down that wonderful beach to the heart of Puerto Aventuras' very laid back and romantic commercial center.   Playa Bonita is in on the ground floor of the Quinta Maya 'A' building.  With the 'B' building in the rear and Quinta del Sol next door, this collection of 3 small condominiums is not one of those faceless mega projects but instead a sophisticated and intimate environment where you will feel relaxed and welcome by the friendly owners who you can't help but meet during your stay.  There are no time share sales people here and only a couple of the units are available as rentals so everyone knows each other yet privacy is respected. The architect and developer of the Quinta group of condominium projects has brought great detail and classic Spanish design to Puerto Aventuras.  These buildings stand out even from a distance with their interesting lines.  As they draw you in for closer inspection you cannot help but be impressed with the attention to detail.  Arches & curves, hand carved doors, decorative iron work,  chandeliers, stone carvings, marble mosaics, domed ceilings, and wonderful columns are all part of the extras which make these buildings something special. From the parking lot you will pass through the arched breezeway of the 'B' building, over a cute little bridge crossing a beautiful swimming pool and up to the gorgeous hand carved entrance to Playa Bonita.

The interior of the condo is an inviting blend of colorful old age Mexican charm and welcome modern convenience.  Vibrant fabrics, classic talevera, rich woods, rustic oversized tiles, local marble, wrought iron, colorful paintings, arched doorways, ornate sills with recessed lighting and niches with interesting local art all work together to create a relaxed ambiance that will instantly envelop you.

The living room arrangement focuses on conversation and that wonderful view.  Satellite TV with VCR and small video library is tucked away in a built in niche should you ever tire of outdoor living and wish to watch a movie or catch up on the news.  However, we must warn you that you will feel worlds away from the stress of home and keeping up with current events will seem like less of a priority as the sun, sand, ocean, and relaxed  'mañana' mode take over.  

Sliding glass doors provide access to the covered terrace where a table with chairs offer the most logical spot for meals and chaise lounges are inviting you & your book for a siesta.

The dining table is perfect for 4 but can handle 6.  A pass through counter to the kitchen with 2 stools provides a perfect breakfast bar for two.  The fully equipped kitchen has full size appliances, microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker and all the necessary dish ware for preparing and serving meals at home should you want to stay in.   The kitchen counters are done is stylish local marble and accented by the native custom built kitchen cabinetry.  

The master bedroom entranceway is between the dining and living rooms.  A slider opens up to access the beachfront terrace and of course the view.   

The King size bed mattress, linens and towels are all of high quality and most comfortable.  

A satellite TV is available for those lazy mornings when you simply don't want to do anything but lay around and celebrate the decadence of another day with no schedule.

The real jewel of this bedroom is the wonderful attached bathroom with it's fabulous tile and marble inlay shower/tub complete with hand chipped columns and domed brick ceiling.  You will feel quite regal bathing here.

The guest bedroom has Twin beds which can also be made up as a King.  Again quality mattresses and linens ensure a comfortable night of rest and inspires pleasant dreams of warm Caribbean days spent frolicking on the beach.  

A sliding glass door opens up to a small terrace with a pleasant view of the swimming pool and gardens.  

A lovely bathroom with shower is just outside the bedroom entrance door.  This bathroom is finished with the same quality and decorative concern as the rest of the condo.

If you need an extra bedroom or a little more privacy for some of your group.  Then the studio condo Tranquilidad is only a few steps away in the back building and being offered at a very reasonable rate.

Playa Bonita is located on sandy Omni beach in the resort/residential community of Puerto Aventuras.  Puerto Aventuras offers many options for guests with restaurants, bars, shopping, golf, diving, tennis, swim with dolphins, deep sea fishing, sailing charters, parasailing and other activities & services within walking distance of the condo. It is everything promised & more - a beautiful condo - I love the decor - and a perfect location by the beach & pool.  We spend lots of time on the patio - I do my yoga there each morning - morning coffee, cribbage & scrabble games in the evening etc.  This place is conducive to relaxation and that is what we have done except for the odd sojourn into Playa del Carmen and our diving & snorkeling excursions.  We read, we walk the beach (or run) we sleep under the palms, we swim - what a life!  Our motto has become "Why do something when you can do nothing!"  Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven.  Karen & Brian.

Many thanks for your generosity in letting us use your little piece of paradise.  The condo is beautiful, the view is incredible.  We spent most of our time walking, reading and enjoying the Mayan Riviera.  We went fishing - Tom caught a sailfish and Brian a barracuda.  Thanks also to the neighbors who were friendly and welcoming.  Tom & Barbara...
