House of the Rising Suns' owner, who has worked extensively in the fashion and design industry, has created with this villa an ambience that is daring yet elegant. Vibrant colors of the 'Rising Sun' utilized in fabrics and paintings, blend quite naturally with soft earth and sea tones brought out through the use of woods, marble, tile, stone, red brick and grass thatching.  Not only has the owner and architect successfully collaborated to celebrate the spirit of the Rising Sun, but they have managed to bring out the owners fun and colorful personality.  Together they have created a home for you to enjoy!

As you enter the villa you will step into a large open space with a unique wall created from fossilized limestone native to the area.  Near the entrance is a guest bathroom done with hand-made tile and inlaid with sea pebbles.  To your right is the 'Poolside Suite'. This bedroom features a canopy King sized bed, ocean & pool views, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a television to make this suite complete.  This is the ideal bedroom for the swimming enthusiast, with a private exit stepping directly into the 55ft. lap pool.  To the left of the entrance is the enormous kitchen which is fully equipped other than a dishwasher.  Separating the elevated kitchen from the dining room is a large service bar with seating for 4 on each side.  The dining room is furnished with a beautiful Balinese hardwood table that seats 10. Feel like dining outside?  House of the Rising Sun boasts a magnificent outdoor dining table too.  The living room is open to the entrance hall and dining room with great views of the Caribbean creating an airy ambiance.   A satellite TV with DVD player including a few movies is provided for you to enjoy or a CD player with poolside speakers is available to provide some music if you prefer.
Mexican tile floors and gorgeous hardwood stairs lead you to a large foyer with access to the four upstairs bedrooms.  To the right are the 'Sunset' and 'Caribbean' suites.  Each of these very comfortable rooms has a King size bed, attached bathroom, ocean and/or pool views and sliding glass doors leading to a terrace or small balcony.  Both of these bathrooms have deep marble tubs with showers.  All of the bedrooms in the home are decorated with fabrics from the South of France and Frette linens grace the beds.   To the left of the spacious main hallway lie the 'Playa' and 'Moonrise' bedrooms which have private wash basins and share a bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms boasts a King size bed while the other has 2 Double beds. This room has a small balcony with ocean view and a large window looking out over the gorgeous jungle tree tops.  Unique to this home is that each of the five bedrooms feature a view of the gorgeous blue Caribbean sea.
Things don't end there.  The roof top is a large space with unprecedented views of the ocean, beach and jungle.  Here you will find a palapa to provide some shade and a double day bed and hammock to stretch out in.  By day, soak in the spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of the jungle and water. By day’s end, take in a stupendous sunset and view by night the awesome sight of millions of glistening stars. Perfect with a cocktail of your choice!
Of course you have come to not only spoil yourself with comfortable accommodations but to soothe your soul in our warm Caribbean sun.  Lounge chairs around the 55 foot lap pool with cascading water provides the perfect place for just that, or down close to the waters edge, a large thatched roof palapa has four individual hammocks and evening lighting where you can easily get lost in time.   The beach directly in front of the villa is a combination of large sandy patches broken up with coral outcrops making it an ideal place to snorkel.  This beach stretches to the south all the way into Akumal.  A two person kayak provided at the villa is there for those who want to do some exploring or get a little exercise. A large gas grill, a wonderful outdoor dining table, colorful dishware and shaded terraces with Mexican leather and wood chairs are all available for you to enjoy outdoor living to its fullest.

As one of the newly developing beaches along this gorgeous Riviera Maya coast, Jade Bay is still a relatively well kept secret.  Those who have found it and planted some roots, have done so with a thoughtfulness for the environment that is to be appreciated.  This beautiful bay still has gin clear waters, incredible corals and colorful tropical fish life just waiting to be snorkeled among.  During the summer months, endangered sea turtles still return after countless years of tradition, to lay their eggs on the beaches of Jade Bay. If you are lucky, you will be blessed in witnessing the exquisite natural wonder of droves of baby turtles erupting from their nest in the sand and making their way back to the ocean where they came. It truly an experience of a lifetime that will leave a lasting memory with you.
