Living in Puerto Aventuras as I do, I have visited many condos and seen many breath taking views. However, none have surpassed the ocean and beach views that greeted me the moment I stepped through the door of Vista del Mar.

With the condos north easterly orientation, 2nd floor elevation, and impressive sliding glass frontage, you are treated to unobstructed views from nearly every square foot of the condo. The views of the Omni beach, the protected bay, and the marina entrance are postcard perfect.

The leisurely movement on the ocean and along the beach will draw you into a hypnotic state that will idle away the hours of your day. As you unwind you will become attune to the simple movement of water, boats and people. You will start to tell time, not by your watch, but from the passing of dive boats as they shuttle scuba divers to and from the near by reef, or by the predictable passage of deep sea fishing charters as they head out in search of Marlin, Sailfish, and Dorado. Late afternoon is marked by the passage of cruise ships from Cozumel as they head south to ports unknown. This is a day and the passage of time at Vista del Mar.

Once you get over the view, you cannot help but notice what a really inviting condo Vista del Mar is. Spacious, open, bright, colourful, and tastefully decorated, all thoughts that immediately come to mind.

The decor is a pleasing blend of rich woods, natural marbles, soothing fabrics, and vivid Mexican artworks. In fact, many of the paintings were done by the owner and not only showcase her talent, but love of Mexico, the people and the culture.

The central living space of the condo is an open Great Room, incorporating the kitchen, dining room, living room, and terrace, into one spacious center for your group to gather and share time together. A half bath with washer and dryer is conveniently located in the entry hall just off of the kitchen.

The entire frontage of the great room is glass with sliders leading out to a large covered terrace that stretches the length of the room. Not only is the view stunning, but the breeze drifting off of the ocean you will find refreshing in temperature and scent.

A lovely large dining table with seating for 8 and a fully equipped kitchen invite you to enjoy meals at the condo. With advance notice we can even arrange for a Mexican cook or an International chef to come in and prepare the meal and serve you, making this one of the best dining locations in all of Puerto Aventuras.

A terrace dining table with seating for 6 invites you to enjoy a morning coffee, late afternoon sundowners, or a wonderful meal 'al fresco'. Two chaise lounges are ready for your afternoon nap and a large soaker tub on the terrace invites a Mom & Dad to a romantic late evening soak under the stars with a bottle of champagne.

On either side of the Great Room are two Master suites. Both of these suites are very large, have attached en-suites bathrooms, and enjoy the same stunning views as the Great Room. One of the Master suites has a King bed, while the other has 2 Queens.

The 3rd bedroom is also very large and has attached en-suite bathroom. This bedroom also doubles as a TV room with a comfortable sofa which can makes into a bed, if needed. Although no ocean view, the room is very bright and cheerful with its south western exposure.

VISTA del MAR is located in the Villas del Mar II condo development on the sandy Omni beach in the resort-residential community of Puerto Aventuras. It is a short stroll down the beach to the Omni hotel and the village center, making this a fabulous location.

We had a wonderful time at the condo and would like you to pass on to the owners our appreciation. It was huge, lovely, and had the best view as advertised. The pool turned out perfect for us, especially our 8 year old boy who is not a real swimmer, but perhaps I should say "was" as he spent a lot of time in it and basically taught himself to swim! We really enjoyed Puerto A. and also Akumal and Tulum. We drove to Coba, and Valladolid as well, to see a real Yucatan town. We hope to return one day, so will keep your contact details. Hi Doug, We had a fabulous time in Mexico! The condo was awesome - we could not have asked for better accommodations, and the view was absolutely amazing! We were stunned by the beauty of it all, and we were very pleased with Puerto Aventuras - we felt safe to allow our kids to enjoy the village, and it offered all the basics that we required, including some great food at the local restaurants! All in all, it was a wonderful vacation for us, and we really did not want to leave at the end of the 7 days! I have shared many pictures with friends and family, and everyone is impressed with the condo and our incredible ocean views! Hi, Doug - thank you. The condo is wonderful!! It was the perfect size for us, and we take up a lot of space!! The views from the balcony were spectacular-it was also nice b/c we could see the kids playing on the beach from the balcony. You should really play up how close it is to just walk down the beach to "town"-we probably made 4 trips a day. We spent a lot of time at Cafe Ole listening to their live music, and talking to Gary and Gail, and it was really nice to be able to finish our drink and just walk down the beach to the condo.
